We have created the OPEO Lab to meet 3 challenges:
- To refine our understanding of the challenges, difficulties and strengths of the businesses we support in improving their creation of added value.
- To search for, identify and enrich through our innovations global best practice in the technical, organisational and people knowledge and management that provide the vital underpinning for systematic change support.
- To present an offering to the State and institutions to make operational excellence a national challenge and to contribute to implementing operational excellence best practice in the local industrial base.
A MOBILE MODEL FACTORY
Training in operational excellence
We have developed a mobile production environment to educate our clients about the implementation of operational excellence and management development.
Audience: operations managers, production managers, supervisors, managers of production support functions
- 1 day for the training on implementation of operational excellence
- 8 half-day modules on managerial practices in a production environment (carrying out a performance review, problem-solving, audit of work stantards, etc.)
Number of participants: 11-20 participants per session (optimum size 15 participants)
- Day 1: Training in the methodology of implementing operational excellence and educating participants about the potential improvement that can be achieved without additional investment
- 2nd half day: Educating first-line managers about the good practice they must adopt on a sustainable basis and improvement opportunities in their day-to-day management
In order to meet demand you must implement improvement actions aimed at increasing the capacity of your production facilities without investment and without extra human resources.
A real factory with 5 assembly positions and an upstream engraving unit.

AN ON-BOARD R&D ENVIRONMENT
We have developed an on-board R&D environment to educate our clients about best practice in R&D and to initiate change prior to improvement initiatives.
Audience: technical managers
Duration: 1 day
Number of participants: 12-15 participants per session
- 1st half day: Educating participants about R&D project management best practice
- 2nd half day: Educating participants about best practice in managing the performance of R&D teams
